Trade Union's Proposal

Duration of the Collective Agreement: 

• A proposal was put forward to set the collective agreement for a three-year term, with the option to review and adjust salary-related issues annually, and to initiate the next collective agreement as required by law.

Applicability of the Collective Agreement: 

• The agreement should be limited to trade union members. 
• Alternatively, specific provisions could be included in the collective agreement that apply only to union members.

Employer's Proposal

Duration of the Collective Agreement: 

• The company proposed a three-year agreement in accordance with the law. Furthermore, it suggested no changes to the agreement unless legally required for major modifications.

Applicability of the Collective Agreement: 

• The Collective agreement should apply equally to all employees of "Oyu Tolgoi" LLC, ensuring that every employee is covered.

Meeting Outcomes 

• The parties agreed to revisit the discussion on the duration of the agreement.
• A mutual agreement was reached for the collective agreement to apply to all employees.
• Additionally, both sides agreed to collaborate on including provisions that specifically address union members.
